Day 1: Welcome to Oslo
Arrive in Oslo and transfer independently to your hotel.
Oslo, the capital, is situated at the head of the Oslo Fjord. We recommend taking a stroll along Aker Brygge, a harbor area with numerous restaurants and sightseeing boats offering guided tours of the Oslofjord.
Your tour escort will meet you at 18.00 hrs in the hotel lobby for a welcome drink, where you’ll also meet your fellow travellers. Dinner will be on your own.
Overnight stay at Thon Hotel Bristol, located in the city center.
Day 2: Oslo - Ulvik
After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic tour of Oslo, including a visit to the Fram Museum, before traveling via Hønefoss along the scenic Halling Valley to the tourist village of Gol. Have lunch in Gol. Cross the rugged Hardanger Mountain Plateau to Fossli, where you'll stop to see the powerful Vøringsfoss Waterfall with a 180-meter drop. Descend the stunning Måbødal Canyon to reach the peaceful Hardanger Fjord. Cross the Hardanger Bridge, then enjoy a short drive along the Ulvik Fjord, a branch of the Hardanger Fjord, to the charming village of Ulvik.
Dinner and overnight stay at Brakanes Hotel, fjord view room. Ideally located on the banks of the fjord.
Day 3: Ulvik - Bergen
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then drive to Voss, where you will board the train to Myrdal. From there, embark on an excursion on the breathtaking Flåm Railway.
Next, depart on an eco-friendly ship for a fjord cruise through the stunning Aurlands and Nærøyfjord, traveling from Flåm to Gudvangen. Surrounded by steep valley sides, snow-covered peaks, thundering waterfalls, and charming villages, this area is considered one of the most beautiful fjord landscapes in the world and is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
End your day with a scenic tour along the picturesque Hardanger Fjord as you make your way to Bergen.
Dinner will be on your own.

Day 4: Bergen - Balestrand
After breakfast, enjoy a 2-hour city sightseeing tour of Bergen with a local guide. This tour includes a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, the famous Bryggen Harbour with its distinctive gabled packhouses, and the historic Hanseatic Quarter.
Following the city tour, you will take a round trip on the Bergen Funicular to the summit of Mount Fløien, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the fjords and mountains surrounding Bergen.
Next, you will continue north by coach to Oppedal, where you will take a short ferry ride to Lavik. From there, you will drive along the Sognefjord to the beautiful resort town of Balestrand.

Day 5: Balestrand - A day in the fjords
Free day in Balestrand - explore on your own the stunning beauty of the fjords. The day begins with a traditional Norwegian buffet breakfast in the hotel's elegant dining room. You might want to spend the morning relaxing on the hotel terrace, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and taking in the spectacular views.
We recommend visiting the local aquarium and art gallery, or you could rent a bike or a rowing boat from the hotel. If you prefer, you can explore the nearby mountains on foot. A walking tour of the village of Balestrand, featuring its historic buildings and other interesting sites, can also be arranged.

Optional: Fjord & glacier Half-day Excursion
Day 6: Balestrand - Loen
After breakfast, you will depart from your hotel by ferry from Dragsvik to Hella. Following this, you will embark on a scenic tour along the northern side of the Sognefjord towards Sogndal. The journey continues by road to Fjærland, where you'll pass beneath the Jostedal Glacier, the largest glacier in Europe, on your way to the village of Skei, located at the northern end of the beautiful Lake Jølster.
Next, you'll descend to the Nordfjord and make a detour to Olden to visit the world-famous Briksdal Glacier. You will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before taking an excursion up to the glacier in open cars known as "Troll cars." These vehicles will transport you approximately 700 meters from the glacier, allowing for a pleasant walk to the glacier's edge before returning by Troll cars.
After your visit, you will return to Olden and arrive in Loen, a small village situated by the fjord and surrounded by majestic mountains and lush green hills.

Day 7: Loen - Geiranger - Lillehammer
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel before departing by coach to Hellesylt. From Hellesylt, you will embark on a cruise of Geirangerfjord, one of Norway's most iconic and narrow fjords, which has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2005. As you navigate through the deep blue waters and lush green valleys, you'll have the opportunity to see magnificent waterfalls, including the "Seven Sisters" and the "Bridal Veil."
After the cruise, enjoy lunch in Geiranger. Following lunch, you will travel along winding roads, experiencing one hairpin bend after another, to reach the Geiranger Skywalk at Mt. Dalsnibba. Here, you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of this stunning fjord region, weather permitting.
Your journey will then continue to Lom, known for its 14th-century stave church. Finally, you will descend through the magnificent Gudbrands Valley to arrive at the charming town of Lillehammer.

Day 8: Lillehammer - Oslo
After breakfast, drive along Lake Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake, towards Oslo, situated at the head of the Oslo Fjord. Visit the Holmenkollen Ski Museum & Tower, where you’ll discover the world’s oldest ski museum, see exhibitions of the polar explorers, and enjoy a great panoramic view of Oslo and the fjord. Drive back down to the city center for check-in at your hotel. Dinner on your own in Oslo.

Day 9: Oslo Departure
Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
Depending on your schedule, if you have time free in the morning, you might want to take a stroll through the new central city district Bjørvika and walk between Oslo’s the Deichman Library and the Munch Museum.
Transfer on your own to Oslo Airport - Gardermoen - in connection with your flight home.
