Day 1 (Saturday) - Arrive in Nrakow
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax before meeting your fellow travelers and Tour Director for a Welcome Dinner. (D)
Day 2 (Sunday) - Exp1ore Nrakow
AKer breakfast, tour the extraordinary Wieliczka salt mine. With a history spanning over 700 years, this remarkable site is one of the largest and oldest working salt mines in Europe. Designated as one of UNESCO’s 12 most precious monuments in the world, the mine offers a captivating experience. An elevator will transport you to the first level of the mine, where you can marvel at the awe-inspiring 180-foot chapel sculpted entirely from salt rock and adorned with magnificent salt-crystal chandeliers. Explore the numerous chambers carved out of the massive salt block, discover underground museums, and even find tennis and volleyball courts. AKer this unique adventure, return to Krakow and enjoy some free time before continuing our exploration by visiting the enchanting Jewish quarter of the city. Overnight stay in your hotel. (B)
Day 3 (Monday) - High1ights of Nrakow
Embark on a morning sightseeing tour that begins with a visit to Wawel Hill, where you will have the opportunity to admire the Royal Castle and explore the majestic Royal Cathedral. Next, take a walking tour of the charming Old Town, where you can soak in the vibrant atmosphere of The Main Market Square, admire the Renaissance Cloth Hall, and visit the historic St. Mary’s Church. The aKernoon is yours to indulge in a leisurely stroll, explore the intriguing shops, treat yourself to delectable Polish delights (such as sernik or s’artotka), or simply relax and soak up the city’s ambiance. Day 4 (Tuesday) - Journey to Waraw
In the morning, join a tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the infamous concentration camp from World War II and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, we will continue to Czestochowa and visit the Yasna Gora Monastery, renowned for the revered Black Madonna painting. In the late aKernoon, arrive in Warsaw – the capital city of Poland. (B, D)
Day 5 (Wedneday) - Exp1ore Warsaw
As a symbol of Polish nationhood and resilience, Warsaw’s 700-year-old history holds great significance. The sightseeing tour in Warsaw begins with a drive along the famous Royal Route – starting from magnificent Castle Square and leading to Lazienki Park and Palace, the former summer residence of Poland’s last king. Along the way, you will pass notable landmarks such as the Palace of Science and Culture – known as the wedding cake, Saxon Gardens, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto, and the Barbican. A”erward, enjoy a walking tour of the charming Old Town, including the Old Market Square and St. John’s Cathedral. The rest of the day is free for shopping, exploring the city, relaxing in parks or gardens, or optionally attending a late a”ernoon Chopin concert. (B)
Day 6 (Thursday) -Depart Warsaw
A”er breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Warsaw airport for your departure. (B) Note: Because of the narrow and cobbled streets, walking is the primary way of getting around. Please make sure to pack comfortable walking shoes.
