After breakfast, walk from your hotel to the central train station to begin the most beautiful rail trip in Europe: Norway in a Nutshell

Your luggage will transported to Bergen hotel, so you may travel light to enjoy the world's most breathtaking nature and carry a small backpack for your overnight stay at Flam.

Train from Oslo to Myrdal: Board the Bergen Railway train to Myrdal. On the trip, you get to enjoy magnificent nature from the train window on some of Europe's most beautiful train rides. 

Train from Myrdal to Flam: The journey on the Flåm Railway is regarded as one of the highlights of this tour. The 20 km-long train journey from the mountain station of Myrdal down the Flåm Valley to the fjord village of Flåm takes around 55 minutes. Enjoy some of the most magnificent mountain scenery in Norway with an ever-changing panorama of snow-capped mountains, thundering waterfalls, and quaint villages. Upon arrival in Flam, check in at the beautiful Fretheim Hotel located across from the Railway Station.

After breakfast, Visit Stegastein - A panoramic view of Aurlandsfjord

Take the Bus from Flåm via Aurland to the extraordinary and spectacular Stegastein Viewpoint that juts out 30 meters from the mountainside, 650 meters above the fjord, and offers an unparalleled panorama.

Fjord Cruise Boat from Flåm to Gudvangen: Continue your journey in Norway in a Nutshell tour by boat. The journey goes out from Aurlandsfjord into the Nærøyfjord, the narrowest fjord in Europe included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, you will pass the charming fjord villages of Aurland and Undredal, home to the smallest Stave church, which dates back to 1147.

Bus from Gudvangen to Voss: A coach journey offers beautiful views of the Nærøydalen valley from Stalheim Canyon road, one of the highlights of Western Norway. A short stop at Stalheim Hotel. The Stalheim Canyon road has 13 steep bends; enjoy wonderful views of the Stalheimsfossen and Sivlefossen waterfalls.

Train from Voss to Bergen: Arrive in the colorful Hanseatic city of Bergen known as the "Gateway to the Fjords". From Bergen Central station, take a short taxi ride or stroll to your hotel.

Fløibanen Funicular: Enjoy a round-trip ride on the Floibanen funicular railway to the top of Mount Fløyen, offering magnificent views of the city below. At Fibranne’s upper station (320 m above sea level), there is a cafe, souvenir shop, and restaurant. Take the Floibanen funicular down to the city's lower station or walk an exciting nature trail to the lower station.

Food and Culture Walk: This tour focuses on the local produce, food traditions as well as Bergen's interesting culture and people. There will be stops along the tour, where you will get to taste a selection of what the city offers. You will visit UNESCO World Heritage Listed – Bryggen, in addition to a meal at a local gem of a restaurant. The last stop is in a cellar that dates back to the 1300s. Here you will get served a small beer and a very special story. The food will be sufficient for lunch. Remember to dress according to the weather. Bergen is, after all, the city of rain!
